Ways of Working in Session

Ways of Working in Session

Move

Moving your body helps to sense your body.

Informed by Movement for Trauma, we’ll explore shapes & sequences aimed restoring nervous system regulation, reconnecting to sensation, and supporting a greater sense of embodied awareness of the felt side of your story.

Talk

Talking tell us how your story is felt and what may feel stuck.

As you talk about your experiences, we’ll get curious about the felt side of the story, the meaning you make, and ways of you relate to what happened there-and-then in the here-and-now.

Try

Practicing aids awareness & supports feeling the unsticking.

Together, we’ll play with ways of actively engaging with your thoughts, feelings, and ways of being to support the possibility of feeling something in a new way. Art, movement, role-playing — we’ll get creative.

We include the body because sometimes what “makes sense” doesn’t add up with what our bodies sense. Healing requires feeling with the right co-created conditions.
