Nice to Meet You.
Hi, I’m Mac —
I’m a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner and Movement Facilitator in Toronto, Canada. I completed a 3-Year Professional Training with the SOS Internationale and Somatic Experiencing International in Canada and the U.K. between 2020-2023 and have trained in and facilitated movement modalities such as contemporary Pilates, yoga, meditation, and Movement for Trauma over the last decade.
I’m an Intermediate-Level Assistant and Personal Session Provider for Beginning Level Students in the SE™ Professional Training Program with Somatic Experiencing International, founded by Dr. Peter Levine.
I’m also in my fourth year of studying Gestalt Psychotherapy through a Five Year Training Program at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto (GIT), where I practice as a supervised Student Therapist* through the GIT Student Clinic.
TLDR:
Ultimately, I get my kicks from exploring somatics as creative experimentation for feeling into your fullness and seeing the ways Somatic Experiencing and embodiment practices can support folks restoring a felt-sense of nervous system resiliency.
Certificate in Somatic Experiencing | 3-Year Professional Training Program with Somatic Experiencing International founded by Dr. Peter Levine (2020-2023).

Education & Training:
As a white, cis-, able-bodied woman, the learnings & unlearnings in what create safer and more accessible spaces is a lifelong practice — and I’m here for it. I’m committed to challenging oppression in all of its forms in myself, others, and systems, and stay open to receiving such.
I also believe that anti-oppressive practices are critical in building a future where access is abundant and belonging is felt, which is the kind of future I’m interested in building.
To continually deepen my ability to practice ways of better supporting the needs and dignity of the folks I work with, some my training has included:
Reverence and Repair with Marika Heinrichs - Wildbody Somatics (2023)
Comfortable Conversations About Race with Natalie Haynes (2023)
Reclaiming Pleasure: Embodied Joy in Trauma Recovery and Social Change with Kai Cheng Thom (2022)
Reaching In, Reaching Out with New Leaf Foundation (2021)
Sharing Privilege with Robin Lacambra (2020)
Belonging Practices:
